CPL. JACOBS WITH HIS MOM CYNTHIA
Robbie,We presented Cpl. Jacobs cane to him last night and boy, did he love it!!!! He said he didn't know how to thank you. He also said he was trying to figure out a way to make a cane look "cool". Now he said he doesn't need to figure that out. ANN
Dear Mr. Gibson, I had meant to write much earlier, and thought I had . . .I recieved one of your canes before I left Walter Reed, and the email I wrote you then was sent back by the server, and I wasn't able to check my email again for some time because the computers here at the Naval Hospital in San Diego block almost everything, but I was able to find the website for the carving organization. So here is my belated thank you for the exceptional cane you made me. It was a very tremendous feeling for me to accept it, and I appreciate the amount of time it must have taken you to make it. Although I still cannot use it (I am mostly wheelchair bound still, although I am beginning to use crutches) it will be an instrument that I will be proud to use, and eventually it will have a distinguished place on my wall when I no longer need it. I know it must be a great labor to make these canes, but I hope you realize how much it means to us that you do, and how appreciated it is. Again, I apologize for not being able to contact you sooner. Thank you again, and Semper Fi! Sincerely, Cpl Gavriel Jacobs
